The Oregon Supreme Court has appointed Rebecca to serve on the Disciplinary Board for Multnomah County. Rebecca Cambreleng of Cambreleng Law LLC in Portland, Oregon began her appointment in April of 2018. Lawyers and public members are nominated by the OSB Board of Governors and then selected from that slate and appointed by the Oregon Supreme Court. Rebecca will serve for an initial three year period.
The Disciplinary Board of the Oregon State Bar is designed to provide a service to the public by protecting their interests and ensuring ethical behavior in the attorney-client relationship.
Rebecca chose to serve on the Disciplinary Board because she believes in the important role that an attorney has in the fair and honest representation of clients, and believes that attorneys who violate their duties to clients should be held accountable.
In her practice, she represents clients as both plaintiff and defense counsel, and was selected to be a board member for her demonstrated ability to be unbiased and look at an issue from all sides. She looks forward to the challenge of serving in this role.
